About Artist
Alexandra Moldovan
My name is Alexandra. I'm a landscape photographer from Denmark. My work focuses on dramatic, raw nature mostly in the nordics or anywhere where nature prevails. My path to landscape photography wasn't a straight line—it was a journey of transformation. Born in the urban bustle of Romania and rediscovered in the wild landscapes of Denmark, I believe that nature photography is a dialogue between the artist and the elements. I started my journey in 2019, teaching myself to see the world through a lens while unlearning the myth that you need "natural talent" to succeed. To me, photography is the ultimate proof that passion, fueled by hard work and a bit of grit, can turn a dreamer into a creator. I specialize in capturing vibrant, dramatic moments where the light meets the wild. Whether I’m hiking through a freezing blue hour or standing on a mountain peak in Senja, my goal is to share the pure joy of nature’s greatest shows. Being a woman in a male-dominated field isn’t just a challenge—it’s my fuel. I create because I want to show the world that nothing worth having comes easy, but the view from the top is always worth the climb. My photography is more than just a digital capture; it’s an invitation to daydream. It’s a reminder that no matter where you start or how many times you’ve felt "mediocre," you have the power to create something extraordinary. I’m here to chase light, and I hope my journey inspires you to chase yours.
