This a traditional event in Almonte, Huelva, Spain, where semi wild mares are herded from the marshes of Doñana National Park into the town, every 26 of June.

Born in Spain, has lived in Africa and Asia for the last 20 years. In 2026 has been awarded with the Winner of the year award in Photojournalism in the London Photography Awards, with a series of photographs taken at Nduta Refugee Camp in Tanzania. Currently lives in Dar es Salaam.
