T(ea) is for Transgender

In this series, I created cyanotype portraits of transgender women I have met by contact printing 35mm film photos onto expired teabags as a commentary on how society treats trans lives. In queer culture, “tea” originally meant “truth,” and that truth signified someone's trans identity.
