Mauro Zorer was born in Rovereto (TN) in 1969. After years of personal study, in 2007 he took a first approach in the direction of Professional Photography with an advanced course at the Laboratory of Visual Language in Bassano del Grappa. At the same time he began to deal with training on photography and photographic language, an activity he still carries out today, at various associations in Trento. In 2009 he attended the first photographic technique course - Stage I - at the John Kaverdash Academy of Photography in Milan during which he learned and developed a professional methodology regarding the use of the lighting systems of a modern studio and of the whole related accessories. The growing passion and the desire to use reality to express his charge of humanity and emotion through the photographic medium, pushes him to attend the Reportage Master with Sandro Iovine at the same Academy, obtaining his diploma in 2011 with the work SanpaBikes - the San Patrignano bike workshop in Trento -. A collaboration project was born with the Community itself, which includes photography courses for guests. The completion of the training course concerning digital photography, graphic edition and photographic retouching - culminating in the first personal review "Naples" - marks the transition to a digital 35mm kit and constitutes the basis for a growing tension towards fine photography. art and social reportage. The personal review "SANPA", held in Trento in 2011 and the Silver Awards achieved at the FIOF Nikon Awards 2014 in Orvieto in the "History" category with the photographic project on Autism testify to this. In October 2014 he enrolled in the Master of Higher Education on Image at FONDAZIONE FOTOGRAFIA in Modena, interested in deepening his theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of photography and artist video. In June 2015 he exhibited in a collective exhibition at the Foro Boario in Modena on the occasion of the traditional end-of-year exhibition The Summer Show organized by Fondazione Fotografia.
