Saddle 02
In the silence of light and shadow, a saddle becomes the protagonist. This photo was born from my fascination with giving a voice to equestrian objects—removing them from their routine and placing them on stage as what they truly are: essential pieces of the discipline.
About Artist
Denisse Anzueto
Born in Guatemala and shaped by years living across Mexico, Venezuela, and Panama, she carries a perspective formed by movement, contrast, and cultural richness. Exposed to art from an early age, it was black and white photography that captured her completely — a medium she found to be the most honest, the most elemental way of seeing. A self-taught equestrian photographer, she has spent the past few years building a body of work centered on one subject: the horse. Driven by relentless curiosity — about light, about shadow, about the space between the two — she approaches each image as both a technical exercise and an emotional one. She believes horses are the greatest gift God has given humankind, and that belief lives in every frame she makes. She photographs them the way she experiences them: as living, breathing presences that demand attention and reward patience.
