Photography has been a constant in my life, a way to capture the fleeting beauty of the world and share it with others. From my earliest days, I’ve always had a camera in hand, instinctively drawn to freeze moments in time. That passion took on new meaning in the mid-1990s when I registered to take a year-long bicycle trip around the world. Armed with my first digital camera, I documented the adventure, building a website to share my photos and journal entries—a blog before blogging was even a thing! That journey ignited a lifelong love affair with photography as a tool for storytelling and exploration. As a longtime Realtor in Denver, I discovered the power of place through my lens. Photographing the city and its suburbs, I created images that resonated with people relocating to the area, helping them envision a new home. Those visuals not only grew my business but deepened my appreciation for the way photography can connect people to places. My camera became more than a tool—a passport to adventure. My love for exploration drives my work. I seek out iconic landscapes—the rugged Rocky Mountains, the ethereal slot canyons, the vast National Parks—and places where wildlife thrives. I don’t limit myself to one genre; photography is my excuse to chase the beauty surrounding us, whether it’s a windswept seascape, a vibrant flower field, the twinkling city lights, or the awe-inspiring Milky Way. Each image is a celebration of discovery, a moment of wonder added to my ever-growing portfolio. My work reflects various themes, each tied to my curiosity and passion for the world. During the challenges of COVID, I leaned into my craft, taking classes and honing my skills to earn a Master Photographer designation from the Professional Photographers of America. This milestone pushed me to refine my vision while staying true to my roots as an adventurer with a camera.
