CURRICULUM – RAQUEL IDE Raquel Ide Brazilian, born in Socorro (SP) Lives and works in Campinas (SP) Email: [email protected] Instagram: @mraquel.ide ABOUT THE ARTIST Raquel Ide is a photographer with training in engineering, psychology and a master’s degree in rural engineering—fields that expand her understanding of territory, environment and the forces that shape life in the Amazon, the central axis of her research. Her work moves between visual poetics and territorial investigation, exploring natural reflections, forest geometries and landscape transformation processes. Since 2021, she has been developing continuous research in the Amazon, creating works that articulate documentary and experimental approaches, ancestry and visual ecology. She participates in exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, integrates institutional collections and has been selected for national and international awards. Her practice unites aesthetics, ethics and territory, proposing sensitive readings on memory, nature and the spirituality of landscape.
