I was born in Paris and grew up in an environment steeped in art. My father, a self-taught painter, and his grandfather before him were both artists. Our apartment was a living gallery — the walls changed every week, adorned with new paintings and colors. This constant dialogue with art shaped my sensitivity to light, texture, and emotion from an early age. Photography has been my passion for many years. In 2018, my work was selected by Pernod Ricard and photographer Courtney Roy for the company’s annual contest linked to the Paris Photo campaign. My artistic approach draws inspiration from masters such as Elliott Erwitt and Édouard Boubat, embracing their pursuit of authenticity and poetic nuance. Beyond photography, I write poetry whenever time allows. For me, poetry and photography share the same essence: both seek to capture what words or images alone cannot fully express — the invisible thread between beauty and time. I try to conceive my photographs as visual poems. I choose to work with analog photography because it demands slowness and intention. Each frame is deliberate, each exposure a commitment. The tactile nature of film — its grain, its imperfections — mirrors the way poetry works: subtle, layered, and deeply human. Analog allows me to honor time, not rush it, and to create images that feel timeless. Through my lens, I strive to reveal not just what we see, but what we feel: the quiet poetry of life.
