Mitindo School Student
The Mitindo School is in Tanzania. The student children live there full time. There is a large contingent of children with albinism, for which there is a history of superstition within the region of people with the condition. This portrait is an unposed street capture.
About Artist
Eric Anderson
I have been a photographer for decades since the time I took up photography as a hobby in my early thirties. Having retired a couple of years ago, I now have more time to devote to this wonderful art form. Whether during my travels or near at home, I love the adventure of having my Nikon or my iPhone in hand for both planned photo experiences or spontaneous moments. My life interests are eclectic and my photography reflects this, be it a beautiful landscape, an intriguing street scene, street portrait, wildlife, or that which simply captures my eye. I have learned my craft through in-person and online courses with a large dose of being self-taught. Studying the work of past masters like Adams, Cartier-Bresson, Lange and others. I hope to grow the recognition of my work and to perhaps snare some freelance work that fits the focus of any of my shooting styles. My artist wife and I are natives of Wisconsin, now living in Colorado, with our two children and three grandchildren nearby.
