MahaKumbh – World’s Largest Gathering
A once-in-144 years phenomenon. Ash-smeared Hindu holy men (Naga Sadhus) charged into India's most sacred river Ganges at dawn on the first most significant bathing day of the Kumbh Mela festival. An extraordinary display of human unity, spiritual energy, and collective consciousness.
About Artist
Savadmon Avalachamveettil
I’m Savadmon Avalachamveettil, a travel and commercial photographer, born in Kerala, India, and currently living in Ireland. My journey into photography began after I moved to Ireland. Surrounded by its stunning landscapes and ever-changing weather, I found myself constantly reaching for my camera. What started as a way to capture the beauty around me slowly evolved into a passion for telling deeper, more emotional stories through images. My work is recognized for a dark, moody, and emotional storytelling style. I aim to create visuals that aren’t just beautiful, but that evoke strong feelings and lasting connections in the viewer. I’m inspired by nature, people, music, and film;and I try to bring that layered emotion into every frame I shoot. Photography, to me, is more than just a visual medium;it’s a way of making people feel something. Whether it’s through light, composition, color, or post-processing, my goal is to create images that leave an impression long after you’ve seen them. While I’m grateful for the support and community I’ve found online, especially on platforms like Instagram, I try to stay focused on creating honest, soulful work that stays true to who I am.
