Living Tributaries
Branching tidal channels spread like veins across mineral plains, blurring the line between anatomy and landscape. The image positions earth as living form, reflecting on interconnection, fragility and the silent systems that sustain and shape life.
About Artist
Anne Neiwand
My work explores the quiet power of landscape—its shifting light, organic patterns, and the way land reveals itself when viewed from both ground and air. I am drawn to moments where place becomes abstract: lines shaped by water, colour formed by season, and terrain sculpted by time. These images sit between documentation and interpretation, inviting the viewer to slow down and engage with rhythm, form, and stillness rather than scale or geography. I hold a Master of Photography in Fine Art Photography (MPI, 2025). My work has received international recognition, including winning the Gold Cup Award from Master Photographers International, First Place in the International Imaging Competition (Aerial), First Place in the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Stories, a Judges’ Choice Award at the International Imaging Competition, and multiple Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards across major international photography competitions.
