ZUZOU | she who is I Jésula Toussaint Visser aka ZUZOU is a self-taught photographer who’s work is focussed around self-portraiture. Colour has always been a loaded word as she navigates through the confronting and complex nature it appears to have in her life. She found comfort in the lack of colour as she works mostly in black and white appreciating the certain simplicity it caries with, while simultaneously discovering a fascination with how black and white is still able to unravel in a full range of shades.
