Glimmer in the dark
Perfectly adapted to their environment, Wing-barred Piprites live and hunt insects in the dense forests of Brazil´s Amazon basin and the Mata Atlántica rainforest. Large eyes help them to navigate in relative darkness of the forest. Despite strong yellow colors, the camouflage is almost perfect.
