About Artist

Adam's Lilith

Adam’s Lilith, born in Germany in 1997 and known solely by her artist pseudonym, is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans photography, watercolor illustration, and prose writing. With academic roots in art history and cultural anthropology, Lilith has been immersed in the world of art since childhood and discovered photography early as her primary form of expression. In 2020, she opened her own photo studio and quickly gained recognition as a published, self-taught fine-art photographer. Her early photographic work explored identity, memory, and the complexity of human connection through staged and symbolic imagery. In 2022, Lilith’s artistic trajectory shifted dramatically when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Fatigue and severe vision impairment forced her to temporarily step away from the camera — but not from art. Turning to watercolor, she created A Thousand Faces (dt. 1000 Gesichter), a large-scale art series combining illustration and prose to give form to the emotional and physical dimensions of MS. The project received significant media attention and was exhibited in multiple solo shows throughout 2024 and 2025. In late 2025, Lilith found her way back to photography through the historical printing process of cyanotype — a technique that allowed her to reconnect with her own images while bridging past and present artistic identities. Cyanotype became both a transitional medium and a tool for rediscovering her photographic voice. Today, Lilith is returning fully to lens-based work. As she reopens her photo studio, she revisits HANDS, an unfinished fine-art photo series interrupted by her illness in 2022. Shaped by the transformation, vulnerability, and clarity the past years have brought to her artistic vision, she intends to finally complete HANDS. Her work continues to merge introspection with visual storytelling, offering viewers a raw and poetic exploration of identity, change and the search for meaning.
