Cong Shuwen 2014-2025
In 2014, I collaborated with a group of migrant children in Beijing to create portraits highlighting their harsh living conditions. More than a decade later, in 2025, I revisited the project by photographing the now-adult participants, who had since relocated to various urban centers across China.

Tianqiutao Chen
Tianqiutao Chen received an MFA in Photography and an MA in Art + Design Education from the Rhode Island School of Design. Currently, Chen is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Photography in the Art and Art History Department at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. Chen’s work has been exhibited widely, including at the Center for Photography at Woodstock (Woodstock, NY), Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts (Providence, RI), Photographic Center Northwest (Seattle, WA), Modern Art Oxford (Oxford, UK), National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo, BiH), Minsheng Art Museum (Beijing, China), DongGang International Photo Festival (Yeongwol, South Korea), Taipei International Photo Festival (Taipei, Taiwan), and Copenhagen Photo Festival (Copenhagen, Denmark), among others. His work was selected for the 2022 Critical Mass Top 50 and made the Winners Shortlist for the Projects & Portfolios Category of the 2025 URBAN Photo Awards. His photobook won the 2017 Lucie Photo Book Prize for the Independent Publishing Category.
