Project is an attempt to show an intriguing story, whose main character is my Grandma. The aging body presented intimately, provokes one in many ways to face their own thoughts and memories. I believe that the value of a human being at every stage of life, regardless of age, is worth noticing.

Aleksandra Żalińska
I am a visual artist, born in Sosnowiec (Poland). I use various media to explore the sociological aspects of human everyday life, but I mainly base my work on traditional photographic methods. The subject of my work is memories and emotions associated with them. I create self-portraits, documents about family, interpersonal relationships that present the meaning of human existence, focusing on their potential and the energy they carry. I am a graduate of the Cracow University of Technology and the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan in the field of photography. My publishing debut „But please be careful out there.” has received the Title of Photographic Publication of the Year 2023 at Fotofestiwal 2023: Hope in Lodz (Poland), it has appeared on a shortlist at OFF Libris during OFF Bratislava 2023 Festival in Bratislava (Slovakia) and get certificate IPA 2025 Official Selection Professional in category: book, self published (USA).
