Apollonia

Apollonia, whose name comes from Apollo, is a symbol of light and quiet strength. Against the raw concrete landscape, her presence introduces softness and contrast. Sunlight creates an elongated shadow, adding a second layer to the image and turning the space into a reflection on human presence.

About Artist

Szymon Brodziak

What you see, is who you are - says Szymon Brodziak, the master of black and white photography. The youngest artist exhibited at the Museum of Photography - Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin (2015). The best black & white campaign photographer of the world, acclaimed by the jury of FashionTV Photographers Awards, during 2013 Cannes Film Festival. He loves to photograph women. Yet he is inspired mainly by locations, where he brings to life his monochromatic visions, full of contrasts, emotions and beauty. He likes to think of his photographs as of frames from movies that never existed. Among numerous international titles and awards, Brodziak is the recipient of Johnnie Walker Keep Walking Award for constant fulfillment of dreams and passion for setting new paths in the search of beauty. Author of two photographic albums: "One" (2013) and "What you see is who you are" (2019), awarded in Paris and USA. Runs his own gallery of photography since 2013 and Brodziak Academy since 2023.
