Anonymity in Motion — a fleeting encounter reduced to fragments: a step, a silhouette, a rhythm against the unyielding city. Architecture holds its ground as the figure briefly claims the light, then slips back into darkness. Everyone and no one. Defined not by name, but by motion.

Ben Speed
Ben Speed is a London-based photographer working in monochrome. His work focuses on the built environment — the places people move through without quite looking at, and what those places reveal about how they were planned, used and changed over time. He shoots both film and digital, and is a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society.
