Bio
Born in Yamagata Japan 1956, Hiroshi Osaka graduated from the Nihon University College of Art in the Department of Photography. Over the course of a decorated career, Osaka has won many awards and recognitions including the Japan Professional Photographers Society Encouragement Award, the Japan Advertising Professional Association International Festival EUROPHOTO Award, and The Photographic Society of Japan New Face Award. At the Japan calendar exhibition, he received many awards such as the Ministry of Finance Printing Bureau Director's Award, the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry President's Award, the Japan-Germany Exchange Calendar Exhibition Bronze Award, and the Kodak Award. Osaka’s works are in the collections of the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, the National Museum of Modern Art (Kyoto), the Japan Polaroid Museum, Polaroid International (USA), Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (USA), the Graham Nash Collection (USA), and more.
