Chrissy Crawford founded ArtStar in 2011 to fill the void between wall decor and fine art. Prior to 2011, there were not a lot of options for collecting online, and the market for fine art was insular and located mostly in major cities. ArtStar presents a carefully curated selection of limited-edition photography, fine art prints and original works, all available with the ease of e-commerce. Chrissy and her team of curators travel to art fairs, gallery openings and artists’ studios to discover new and exciting work for emerging collectors. Each artist is vetted, and all images are exclusive to ArtStar. Prior to ArtStar, Chrissy worked for a private gallery in Aspen, and as an art advisor in London and New York. She lives in New York with her husband, young daughter and two grumpy Dachshunds.
