Bio

Anna Goldwater Alexander is Director of Photography of WIRED. She's been producing photo shoots and commissioning WIRED photographers for over twenty years. She was the 2019 recipient of General Excellence, Design and Photography by American Society of Magazine Editors. She was nominated as Photo Editor of the Year by the Lucie Foundation in 2021. Anna has also been awarded honors from the Society of Publication Design, American Photography, Art Directors Club and Communication Arts. Anna has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Arizona. She resides in Northern California with her husband, two children, three cats and Trout the dog.
