We left Lake Nakuru, Tanzania a bit disappointed after our Flamingo search had failed but gave it another go by waking up early and waiting quietly by the Lake. Then a solo bird landed through the mist with a dramatic hop, skip, and a comical walk across the water.

For months, I carried my wife’s camera gear and joined her on early photo shoots. Eventually, curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to try it myself. That was four years ago, when I picked up my first camera and began exploring photography. I started with wildlife photography before shifting to landscapes—both of which I enjoy.
