About Artist

Miles Harrison Carter

Miles Harrison Carter is a street photographer whose work explores chance encounters, visual irony, and the relationships that emerge in public space. Drawn to moments of coincidence, contrast, and ambiguity, he uses photography to examine how people navigate the shared environments of everyday life. His work has been exhibited in juried exhibitions including Exposed DC, For the Record presented by the Historical Society of Washington, DC, Color 2024 presented by the Artists Council, and the Miami Street Photography Festival, where he was a two-time finalist. In 2024, he received the People’s Vote Award in the Non-Professional Street category of the reFocus Awards Color Photography Contest.
