I’m a visual storyteller, photographer, and conservationist. After 30+ years as a trauma therapist, I instinctively seek images that reflect resilience, beauty, and wholeness. I am primarily a wildlife photographer, although international travel images and people fill half of my photo archives.
I hope my images remind viewers there is goodness and beauty in the world. I believe people and nature are inextricably linked. Photography is a way of seeing that can teach and inspire people to care. When we care, we are more inclined to protect. If my stories and images inspire others to take steps towards making the world a better place, then I feel I have made a meaningful contribution. Like David Attenborough, I believe “If we take care of nature, nature will take care of us. When we save wild places, we save ourselves.”
