About Artist
Meera Lehr
Meera Lehr (*1993) is a photographic artist living and working in Berlin. She has a master's degree in design with the focus on photography. Currently she is self-employed. In her work, she repeatedly explores the theme of "alienation" - and aims to make overarching connections visible. Her work has been shown in different exhibitions. Her photographic work "A Wrong Fairytale" is in a constantly growing and intensive process. In it she deals with our disrupted relationship to ourselves and to the outside world and how this is interwoven. In her view, this is the most pressing issue of our time, as the consequences of this are devastating for the individual, as well as for the whole earth - including all organisms. Her work is artistically and staged and drifts toward the surreal, she seeks to create gentle irritations in her images and playing with ruptures to reveal hidden discrepancies.
