I had actually planned to become a sports teacher, as the decathlon in athletics, and later handball, was my main focus. But things turned out differently. I failed my high school exams, trained as a draftsman and bricklayer, then studied architecture and pursued a career in that industry. Later, I founded a company and worked for two decades as a consultant to building owners.
At 17, I bought my first SLR camera, booked a course in analogue development and enlargement of black-and-white images, and set up my own photo lab in the basement.
Previously, my focus was always on photography of different genres, reflecting my life's main interests (sports/architecture/construction/family/nature).
Since 2018, I have been exploring digital photography again, integrating the experiences from my life so far. My different types of images reflect the diversity of life in all its facets. I enjoy the entire photography process.
