Talking to Fog
In the fog’s quiet, I feel what’s gone - time loosens, memories drift. Talking to Fog is a meditation on solitude and absence, an attempt to glimpse what remains when the noise recedes and the world holds its breath.

About Artist
Toby Dixon
Toby Dixon is an Australian photographer and director whose work explores the quiet tension between people and place. While equally drawn to landscapes, his portraiture seeks out the intriguing characters on the edges of society, celebrating the everyday person and elevating their stories through his lens. Whether capturing the lines of a face or the fleeting gestures that reveal a life lived, Dixon reveals the dignity, humor, and humanity in those often overlooked. He has worked with top-tier global clients on advertising campaigns, earning a place in Lürzer’s Archive Top 200 and recognition as a finalist at Head On Festival multiple times, among countless other industry accolades. Yet despite these achievements, Dixon’s greatest joy remains wandering with his camera, discovering new faces, untold stories, and hidden corners wherever he goes.
