I am a Danish-born visual artist living in the Netherlands, where I as well received my art education. My work is based on photography and I mostly grab my simple mobile phone to make photograhps, which I rework in computer software. In my practice I aim to unite the physical and the digital to rethink our existence in an extremely computerized world flooded with visual overload, based on my motivation to get to the heart of things and a need to get 'down to basic'. My point of departure lies in the realm of nature, from the strength of the smallest weed plant to the fragile balance in the earth's atmosphere, which I metaphorically use to question the condition of humanity in relation to the tangible, natural world and the digitized (meta) world. My work has been shown physically in both artist-run spaces as well as established exhibition institutes in The Netherland and abroad, as well as in online exhibitions.
