This photo is of an architectural light study (physical model) that I made. The color comes from sunlight reflecting off orange surfaces on the back, as it filters through the space. It was inspired by colored sunlight I observed in nature, reflecting off orange canyon walls, in the Southwestern US.

Verl Adams is a designer and a photographer. He is a registered architect, licensed in the United States, and an Associate Professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University in Japan, where he teaches spatial design and experimental photography.
