Javid Tafazoli was born in 1982 in Bojnourd, Iran. He is graduated in photography from University of Applied Science & Technology, Ahwaz, Iran. He has held 25 individual and group exhibitions in Iran, Germany, Italy & Malaysia. Attended in over 65 international and 70 national photo festivals and obtained 52 awards in Iran, China, Japan, Slovakia, UAE, France, Turkey, Romania, Ukraine, Slovenia, UK and Italy. Javid is a member of Iranian Photojournalists’ Association (IPA), National Iranian Photographers’ Society (NIPS) and Institute For Promotion of Contemporary Visual Arts. He is currently cooperating with news agencies and press as a freelance photojournalist. His photography interests include social documentary and photojournalism.
