About Artist
Paul Cox
Born and raised in Zimbabwe before moving to the UK and now based in Taiwan, Paul Cox has been working as a full-time documentary photographer since 2013. His work explores culture, identity and the resilience of communities, with a particular focus on long-term projects undertaken in partnership with NGOs. Best known for his work in Mongolia, he has exhibited internationally on twelve occasions and is the author of Red Hero, a photographic book documenting the people of Ulaanbaatar. He is currently photographing a new documentary project in Cambodia, once again NGO related.
