Pelican Perspective

The shy Dalmatian pelicans follow the Greek fishermen's boats eagerly in exchange for a fish. To photograph the birds, we made a catamaran-like structure with a camera in an underwater case. The voracious birds often caught the camera itself with their huge beaks.
