I am lucky enough to have been born and raised in the Dolomites.
In the course of my life I have had the opportunity to study in different places, to travel in Europe and around the world. As is often the case, experiences elsewhere made me realize how special and unique the place I had always been was. As a teenager, I started photographing the mountains near home on solo hikes to document the places I could reach. As time progressed it was natural to make the transition from going in the mountains and taking pictures, to going in the mountains to take pictures.
For years I have been working in the field of photography, making photo shoots that portray the territory: from marketing to local development projects to outdoor activities in the Dolomites. In my spare time I pursue a few personal projects, such as this one, which allows me to keep my passion for photography alive and fully experience one of the most beautiful places in the world.
I live as much as possible in the outdoors, off the trails, in the fir woods, among the rocks, on old paths of long-disused passages. I feel an incredible attraction to explore the mountains, whether it is the woods behind the house or a remote peak makes little difference. Here I have found my dimension, my living space.
