Award-winning photography artist. Born in USSR, trained in Moscow as an artist and architect. Moved to San Francisco in 1987. Later in life I turned to photography, but schooling in painting and design remains present in my approach to camerawork. I am interested in exploring the abstract in the material world and in that regard am strongly influenced by Russian Constructivists of the 1920s. Exhibit locally and internationally, had several solo shows, works featured in photography magazines, had several awards and was a winner in juried photography competitions.
