La Palma, Spain, August 2021 The summer night turned out to be surprisingly windless at an altitude of 2400m. I was watching the clouds creep into the caldera, a large hollow of volcanic origin, remaining the tiny orange stripe of light coming from the towns underneath. It was such a magic moment.
