As a 35-year professional photographer, I have a job I consider one of the best and genuinely a privilege to have. On any given day, I get to document people and their world and create images that tell their stories, whether for a magazine or news article, advertisement or annual report. From my earliest days as a photojournalist, I knew that what I get to do as a photographer is something amazingly special, and the access I get, and the history I see and document, that is not to be approached with anything but the ultimate in respect and dedication.
