Although my background is in teaching young children, I am an artist, floral designer, and emerging photographer who is inspired by nature in all its forms. My goal is to tell the stories of the earth with a sense of quiet magic and wonder, eventually as a full-time profession. For now, I am building a portfolio, exploring, experimenting, and carefully observing all the creatures I can.
I believe every living being has some sort of soul, and I want my work to reflect the depth of this existence. I am particularly drawn to the relationships between animals, such as between parents and babies, preferring to capture the subtle and intimate moments between them. I easily get lost in nature's colors and patterns and am a bit of a daydreamer.
Chances are you can typically find me along the banks of the Brandywine river following my favorite families of geese and wood ducks, traveling, eating anything with buttercream icing, or working out on a VersaClimber.
