Every year, in November and December, I look for bighorn rams dueling in the rut. These two hardly had room to stand on a narrow ledge far up a cliff face, but they continued with the annual ritual all the same.

About Artist
Larry Taylor
I'm a biologist, biology professor, and lifelong lover of the natural world. Wildlife photography is a relatively new pursuit of mine, but one which has immediately fulfilled a deep and previously unrecognized need. In a world where wilderness and wildlife are disappearing in the geological blink of an eye, I am lucky and deeply grateful to get to see and experience the moments I do, and photography has allowed me to share some glimpse of those moments with others.
