Born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1974, I have lived more than 20 years of my life outside of Denmark, in USA, Hong Kong and Australia. I bought my first SLR camera in Hong Kong and decided to figure out how to use it shortly after I moved to Sydney, Australia in 2001.
When it comes to photography, I like to say that I find the blend of technique and creativity fascinating, sometimes frustrating, other times rewarding, but always very therapeutic. I love making good images.
When making images I employ a strong sense of composition, colour and light. I really enjoy exploring geometry, pattern and texture in my images and I am fascinated by finding beauty in the ordinary. I am passionate about photographing architecture, creative spaces, landscapes and people.
Today I reside in the historical town of Koege in Denmark, located just 20 minutes outside of Copenhagen. I also have the great privilege to hold dual citizenship of Denmark and Australia; two countries that are equally close to my heart.
