I was born and raised in New York City. Discovered film photography in 1978 and in 2010 picked up a digital camera. I have grown in my journey and continue to be intrigued by what can be achieved in the digital darkroom which opens an avenue of learning, exploring, and expressing. My work is an expression of my emotions. My black and white calla lily photograph was born out of a dark time in my life. Sometimes my emotions are scattered and sometimes not. I express myself best in black and white, yet there are moments when color is a must. We walk through life and sometimes miss the beauty. When we come to something we gravitate to, it’s only for a fleeting moment. So we must seize the moment. My camera allows me to revisit those moments.
