About Artist
Eric Chatelain
I'm an old amateur photographer (born in 1957) and I used to live in France, near Geneva and the Swiss border, but now I'm a permanent nomad because for the past two years I've been living in a caravan and spending all my time taking photos all over Europe. I only started using a 'real' camera, which my father lent me, at the beginning of 2016. (I had previously been using a simple smartphone for photography). I then acquired a Canon EOS5D MarkIV to be able to use all the lenses my father left me. As an architect, I'm particularly drawn to buildings or bridges with strong contrasts, interesting colours and details, but I also like to focus on small objects such as a flower or a piece of electrical wire. I'd describe myself in three words: passionate, curious and eclectic
