Distant Moon

Shot in Oman, this minimalist study uses perspective to merge two separated structures into one form. Captured in natural light, hard architectural lines contrast warm tones against a cobalt sky, while the solitary moon introduces scale within the negative space.

About Artist

Riccardo Interdonato

My work explores atmosphere, light, and quiet moments through photography. I focus on how subjects shift through changes in light, time, and perspective, and how these variations shape the reading of an image. Each image is made with restraint and intention, prioritising clarity, balance, and simplicity, allowing the natural qualities of form, texture, and light to emerge. The work is shaped by long-term observation — how light moves, how surfaces change, and how small details can carry more weight than the subject itself. It is about slowing down and looking more closely at what is often overlooked.
