Geoff Story discovered his love for storytelling the moment his father handed him his first camera. By the age of 12, he was already shooting for the school yearbook and directing his friends in no-budget 8mm horror films. That early curiosity grew into a career in advertising, where he’s worn many hats including creative director, designer, copywriter, photographer, filmmaker, and genuine namephreak. No matter the medium, Geoff takes a human-centered approach. In both commercial and personal work, he strives to create with empathy and purpose. His portraiture and documentary projects, in particular, focus on bringing dignity and visibility to people and communities who often live outside the mainstream. Geoff’s work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Graphis, IPA, the ADDYs, the Educational Advertising Awards, AIGA, and Print magazine. His documentary projects have been featured in The Advocate, HuffPost, and The New York Times.
