Andrea Altemüller was born in Stuttgart and studied photography and graphic design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna where she lived again the last years. She´s currently based in Munich. She has been working as a professional photographer since 1995, always pursuing her personal projects and series, which have been created in various parts of the world. These projects have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Europe and abroad and published in renowned magazines. From December 2019 to September 2020 the Weltmuseum, Vienna presented the exhibition "Metamorphosis.Brazil 1998 with the series Earth from my river and Deforestation of the rainforest. Her works are part of the collection of the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, the Daimler Art Collection, the Banco Espirito Santo Collection, Portugal, Eric Franck Fine Arts, London, Bibliothèque National, Paris and private collections.
