Sebastien Desnoulez discovered photography at the age of 18 while preparing for his first trip to the United States. Very soon, the image became a language of its own. He deepened his practice at the university of Nacogdoches, in East Texas, before embarking on a career as a press agency photojournalist. For several years, he covered major international motorsport events — from Formula 1 Grand Prix to IndyCar races and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. Behind the adrenaline of the circuits, he refined his sense of framing, of speed, of captured tension. This visual instinct, sharpened by action and intensity, now informs a deeply artistic body of work.
