On the wind-whipped shores of Skarðsfjörður, a herd of Icelandic horses broke into sudden motion — galloping with wild joy before two stallions squared off in a flurry of hooves and attitude. One reared, the other one delivered what can only be described as a bombastic side-eye. Iceland, unscripted.

Hello! I am Birgit! I am an amateur photographer from Munich/Germany. I've been passionate about photography since I was a teenager. Shooting in automatic mode, I was always disappointed, that I couldn't capture what my eyes saw. When I got my third Australian Shepherd, I started shooting manually and posting my images on Instagram. My models are mainly my own dogs, but I also love portraits, landscape and street photography. I am addicted to colors, lights and love, the ingredients of an image that also gave the name to my website. In 2024 I was nominee at the Fine Art Photography Awards and was awarded Honorable Mentions at the International Photography Awards 2024 and the ND Awards 2024.
