Tucked away between boulders, this house sits in the Alabama Hills, part of Owens Valley. Owens Valley was once the blooming garden of the Paiute thanks to sophisticated irrigation ditches they created. Payahuunadü, meaning 'the land of flowing water', is the original Paiute name for the valley.

Catherine Lemblé (°1990) is a Belgian photographer based in Brussels. She received her MA in photography from Luca School of Arts Brussels and self-published her first book Cabin Fever in 2019. Her work is framed by the ever-changing relationship between man and the natural world.
