A City Posing for Portrait Glass

In the absence of people, I asked this city to pose. These are portraits of a city in flux, as if waiting for people to return, but also dreading it. Captured at 2AM with a portrait lens, these reflect my love for liminal spaces. The stillness, the honesty, the exhale of a city finally breathing.

About Artist

Archieval Mariano

I’m Arch, someone who’s not quite a photographer, not quite a writer, just a bored storyteller trying to capture the quiet in-between moments where architecture, light, and absence create stories of their own. I love street photography, though my streets are often empty. I also like to live dangerously by shooting only JPEGs. My work is a poetic attempt to catch cities breathing and pausing, inviting you to linger in the stillness that often goes unnoticed.
