The Mundari are herders in South Sudan. In their cattle camps, children do most of the work, collecting and drying dung and piling it up to be burned to repel mosquitoes. The ash, as fine as talcum powder, is rubbed onto their bodies and the cattle twice a day. It is also used as bedding.
