Thorsten Otto Bartelt was born in Berlin in 1961. He lives and works with his family in Berlin-Hermsdorf. Inspired by the passionate and colorful works of the Impressionists and the expressive sweeps of modern painting, he developed a refreshing variety of his expressive possibilities as an autodidact. His often abstract works invite you to linger. They should surprise and offer plenty of space for your own associations. Thorsten Otto Bartelt works mainly with acrylic paints on canvas and paper.
